DEVON & JASON | MIDDLE RANCH WEDDING
There is so much I can say about this wonderful Middle Ranch wedding in Lake View Terrace California. It was such a beautiful day, with a beautiful couple and their incredible friends and families. I was so lucky to be their photographer! Let’s first start with some of the super cool aspects of their day. The couple specifically chose favors and floral decor that could be taken home by the guest sand replanted, which is totally awesome. The center back drop for their wedding ceremony also has the sweetest story behind it, the piece was originally used by the Brides father. He decorated it with daisies to surprise the Brides Mother. Devon & Jason’s day was filled with so many sentimental items and moments. The Groom’s parents shared marriage advice at the reception when through a game it was discovered they were the longest married couple at the wedding. The Bride’s something borrowed was a bracelet of her mothers that her dad had given her, Devon wore it as an anklet. The list of these small tributes to loved ones goes on and on.
It was so easy to see that the couple truly valued having their closest friends and family there to celebrate their love story. One of my favorite parts of the day was taking the sweet couples portraits. Aside from the fact that we got to use the Grooms seriously cool classic muscle car as a prop, it was also so fun to get to hang out with just the two of them and get to know them just a little better. I have been dying to share these photos but knew the couple was on their epic honeymoon with limited internet access but now that they are home here is pretty wedding overload.

The grooms Mothers came up to me before the wedding and handed me this little guy hanging on the Brides dress. She said the Groom and his sister had taken in all over and taken photos of it and with it for years. How adorable! If you pay attention, he may show up again in another photo!
Some girls want diamond earrings from their future Husbands on their wedding day. But Devon was giddy with joy when she opened her gift, a personalized throwing axe.
