SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATIONS
I am so blessed to live on the incredible California central coast. With that, comes some amazing San Luis Obispo county engagement session locations. Here are some of mine and my past couples favorite spots.
LAGUNA LAKE PARK IN SAN LUIS OBISPO
Laguna Lake park is huge! It offers open fields, rolling hills, a small lake and so much more. It’s also a park that looks different throughout the year. Sometimes the grass is shorter, sometimes it’s tall with wild flowers. See more of the session here.
AVILA BEACH
Avila beach is one of my favorite locations for beach engagement photos. In the off season and weekday evenings it’s not too crowded plus there is always parking available. It’s a beach with a bit of a cove so lighting is more ideal too. You can also get a variety of photos with all the cute shops they have on the boardwalk.
BOB JONES TRAIL IN AVILA BEACH
The Bob Jones Trail is a very long trail, but my favorite spot to take photos is near the market. You can get a variety of photos using the greenery and using the cute shops and buildings.
LOS OSOS OAKS PARK IN LOS OSOS
Los Osos Oaks is filled with trees, hanging moss and with a short walk you can get an open sky with rolling hills in the background. This space is super versatile and super romantic. We always start sessions here a little earlier though because the sun sets faster down in the trees. See more of the session here.
MONARCH BUTTERFLY GROVE IN PISMO BEACH
I love this little spot. The eucalyptus trees photograph so beautiful especially when the sun is coming through them. There are several little trails in this area to get a wide variety of looks and on weekdays and off season you can often take advantage of the nearby open camping fields.
SAN MIGUEL MISSION
The San Miguel Mission is not only a great historical location it is a beautiful backdrop for photos. It’s got a great mix of aged architecture and lots of beautiful succulent plants.
