MONTANA DE ORO ENGAGEMENT SESSION | STEPHANIE & DANIEL

I am thrilled to be sharing this Montana De Oro engagement session today.

Stephanie and Daniel, like Bram and I, had a best friends first relationship and met 10 years ago through work. Their proposal story is very similar to ours too, which is probably why this engagement session was so much fun.

Montana De Oro engagement sessions aren’t something I get to shoot often, and although we had to battle a bit of a holiday weekend crown, it was so worth it. San Luis Obispo was a crazy 110 degrees, so being on the coast was so nice.

Our first stop brought some sweet nostalgia for me, as we were right by where both Bram and I went to Camp K.E.E.P. We then ventured over to a few other gorgeous spots including the rocky beach, where this couple made my beach photo shoot dreams come true and agreed to get in the water. Seriously, take note friends, if you do a beach session, get in the water at the end. The results are always epic.

Engagement sessions are seriously the best, and are so important. We get to hang out and get comfortable around each other, couples get to learn some of my posing techniques and by the end of the session are seriously qualified models. Then, on the wedding day, things go so much smoother and quicker during the portrait session allowing our couples to get a huge variety of wedding day portraits.

We can’t wait for Stephanie and Daniel’s 2021 wedding!
