JANELLE & WILL | MDO Engagement Session

A few days ago we got to hang out with Janelle and Will for their MDO engagement session and it was a total blast. I have to admit though, I’m a tiny bit sad because it’s my last engagement session for a while. I LOVE engagement sessions because I get to hang out and joke around with the couple and I get to be super creative since I have more time than a wedding day. There’s also so much less pressure and a lot more of a relaxed vibe all together. Don’t get me wrong though, there is nothing that compares to photographing a couple on such a special day of their lives like their wedding day. The natural glow everyone gets is so real. Although Montana De Oro is somewhere I’ve shot several times it was super fun to try out a few new poses and stretch my creativity a little. Even though I’ve been a full time photographer for years, I am still always learning and trying to be better every time I pick up my camera.

Enough about me, let’s talk about these two love birds. Janelle has one of those infectious laughs; and I loved that Will could so easily get her laughing! A Groom who is constantly making his Bride laugh is my absolute favorite. But as much as we all laughed during this session, damn do these two do the more sexy and romantic poses so well! They both have such sweet and easy going personalities and I felt so loved and appreciated by them as they asked us questions about ourselves and our personal lives during the session.

We can’t wait to celebrate with them at their upcoming wedding and capture them on such a happy day! I also can not wait to see Janelle as a Bride, I just know she’s going to look like she walked off a magazine cover!
