ADRIENNE & MANNY | THE PENNY WEDDING
Adrienne & Manny’s The Penny Wedding was such a fun experience for me and such a unique one too! I mean, don’t get me wrong, every wedding is a wonderful experience and so unique! This day just had so many things about it that I don’t get the opportunity to do enough!
Their day started at the absolutely beautiful Granada Hotel in downtown San Luis Obispo. This hotel is a small boutique hotel with gorgeous details. Speaking of gorgeous details, today’s post is very detail heavy. Adrienne has seriously killer style and it showed all through their wedding day. Her dress and accessories had a vintage glam vibe that I loved. The couple opted for a first touch and a first look which I was more than happy to do! First touches just don’t happen as much as they used to!
Since their ceremony and reception venue The Penny was only a few blocks from their hotel the couple and several of their family members and guests all walked the beautiful downtown streets while we got to take some of the coolest photos along the way. It was so different and unique and I loved every minute of it!
Adrienne and Manny both have big beautiful personalities and this walk really helped capture them in such a unique and candid way! More couples should do something like this when they have the opportunity in their days! Now, let’s talk about their venue! The Penny has an almost industrial very urban vibe and Adrienne (along with her bestie who did all of the gorgeous florals) really took it to a different level with the bright colors! I also LOVE that Adrienne chose to stay true to her personality and had bright pink nails that perfectly matched her bouquet and the florals.
The ceremony and reception showed just as much as the couples personality as the rest of the day, the ceremony went from big tears of happiness one minute to belly laughs the next. And their grande entrance turned into an instant whole wedding dance party! What an incredible way to start the party! Thank you Adrienne and Manny for letting us capture your day, you both are such special people and we are so happy to have met you!
