BEACH ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS | CLAUDIA & JOEY

This past weekend we got to take Claudia & Joey’s beach engagement photos in a crowd favorite, Montana De Oro. This session was a little different than my normal MDO engagement sessions though, it was a morning session! I very rarely do morning engagement session. I tend to attract clients like myself, not morning people! LOL. But because of scheduling and driving from out of town, it just made sense to shoot their engagement session in the morning light. Honestly, it was a lot of fun! I loved the challenge of taking a location I am super comfortable at in golden hour and using it with completely different lighting. It’s not uncommon for me to go through periods of time where I doubt myself and my abilities so opportunities like these are always a confidence booster. Your girls got talent and I need to start bragging on myself just a tad bit more. But, feel free to help me check my ego whenever necessary because arrogance isn’t cut.

Now, this couple! I am so excited for their wedding day! Claudia & Joey have such a great energy. They are instantly warm and friendly and I loved hearing all about their recent travels, what they do for work and what they’re looking forward to most about their big day. We also all bonded over our mutual love for High Street Deli… if you know, you know. Which, yes we all went and ate after their session at their new Los Oso location!
