GROVER BEACH ENGAGEMENT SESSION | SHELBY & KYLE

Last week we had a blast hanging out with Shelby & Kyle for their Grover Beach engagement session. We started the day at one of my favorite spots, the Monarch Butterfly Grove. I used to capture engagement sessions here all the time, but haven’t been there in quite a while. All the rain we’ve had this winter brought out new greenery and some ice plant flowers that we’re gorgeous.

After we exhausted the butterfly grove we headed to my favorite beach spot at the end of Grand in Grover Beach. I just love the variety of the boardwalk, dunes and a beach that’s never too crowded. Plus the glow we get here from the sun is always fantastic. We had a blast taking a few photos, even though the sand was super cold. I even convinced these two to get in the water just a little bit at the end of the session. It was way too cold for full on submersion but still totally worth it.

We can’t wait for their wedding day!
