OUTDOOR SAN LUIS OBISPO ENGAGEMENT SESSION | KENDRA & TED

We had a blast photographing this outdoor San Luis Obispo engagement session. I feel like this park is a bit of a hidden gem. Outside of the dog meet ups that I see frequently in the designated dog park areas, this place is never too busy. It’s also got a good variety of some open grassy areas, a small lake and views of some of the smaller San Luis Obispo mountains. Plus, there’s always parking which is a bonus for sure!

Kendra & Ted are the kind of couple that you meet and instantly want to be friends with. They both have infectious personalities and are just the type of people you want to have a conversation with.

Kendra tells the story of their engagement simply and sweetly. They went to Monterey and had a great day having lunch, going to the aquarium and their favorite dinner spot. Ted then popped the question on the beach under a full moon. They had a custom candle made with the proposal date after that. I love the idea of having a keepsake from such a special time in their life.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little extra excited for their wedding. Not only are there some super cool unique aspects I just know it’s going to be a romantic and relaxed wedding which are the best kinds! Congrats to Kendra & Ted! We ran into a little trouble with the combination of the wind and dress. But it made for some great laughs I was happy to capture.
