SANTA BARBARA CITY HALL WEDDING | AMANDA & HAYDEN

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing these two love birds intimate Santa Barbara City Hall wedding last week. They said “I Do” in the courthouses mural room, which was so unique and beautiful. The walls are covered in scenes that depict the history of Santa Barbara. And there is a gorgeous, large chandelier hanging in the middle of the room that the couple stood below to say their vows. It’s a public space but those passing by were more than courteous to the ceremony. The ceremony was performed by a friend, which I love, and makes wedding days even more personal. It was short and sweet with a lot of personal touches.

After the ceremony we got to spend some time together exploring the property and taking their just married portraits. We had so much fun taking their photos and getting to know their loved ones a little bit. The Santa Barbara courthouse is such a unique wedding venue and there were so many other people having their best day ever too! There are so many little spots inside and outside the building that are beautiful. As a photographer I had so much fun using the architecture to create unique portraits.
