SANTA BARBARA COURTHOUSE WEDDING | AUBRIANNA & KENTON

We recently got to capture Aubrianna & Kenton’s Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding with their reception at Villa & Vine. There were so many amazing details to this wedding day yet the day was also simple and very relaxed. I loved how the blue colors of the day were understated but still striking; from the invitations, the Grooms suit, the Brides nails and even the Santa Barbara Trolly had a blue logo. Though I don’t think that was known, just a happy accident.

The couple had a first look at their air bnb, and then we hopped over to the beach for a few portraits before their courthouse ceremony. The ceremony was performed by their mutual friend, who did such a good job and I loved their group hug (pictured below) after the couple was pronounced! I also loved that the couple incorporated a few traditions that were special to them like a lasso ceremony and breaking of the glass.

The reception had a very relaxed feel while guests enjoyed drinks and food during cocktail hour and dinner. After the formalities though, the dance floor , was anything but relaxed. It was fun and lively! I’m obsessed with the images we got from the dance floor. Villa and Vines dance area becomes a mini club and looks amazing with a little bit of up lighting. If you get married here, spend the extra and get the up lighting, you won’t regret it. I think every guest was on the dance floor at one point, we love to see it!
