CAROLINA & ROMAIN | SHELL BEACH ELOPEMENT

Today’s blog feature is a Shell Beach Elopement that will forever have a special place in my heart. I had the pleasure of meeting Carolina & Romain several years ago when I took engagement pictures for them. That’s when I got to hear their love story for the first time. They met here in California; even though Romain is from France and Carolina from Italy. Romain lives here full time now, but Carolina was still finishing up school back home. They saw each other as much as they could but I’m sure you could imagine they felt the longing to be together. They were actually supposed to start their new life together a while ago, but ya know, global pandemic… But after jumping through many hoops and detour in Mexico, Carolina was finally able to make it back here to Romain.

I was ecstatic when they reached out and told me they were having an intimate ceremony in Shell Beach and wanted us to capture it. I knew Carolina was going to make the most gorgeous Bride and she definitely proved me right! These two international love birds were actually married by Romain’s mom, how cool right!? And of course there were little bits of French and Italian sprinkled into the ceremony. I even learned a few new words while we were chatting and take photos!

After they said “I do” and sealed it all with a kiss we headed over to one of their favorite beaches, Avila, to take some photos on the sand. It was a gorgeous sunny and warm day and thankfully not too windy! I am so happy for these two sweet, kind, wonderful humans to have finally been able to tie the knot and start their new adventure together!
